1. Who we are
Tiny Tempo is a portrait rhythm game published by Dor Vadai. We do not operate a Tiny Tempo account system or a first-party game server. Gameplay, progress and settings live on your device. Advertising and purchases are handled by the partners named below.
Contact: dor1612@gmail.com. Related terms: Terms of Service.
2. Summary
- We do not ask you to create an account or give us your name or email in the app.
- Level progress, audio calibration, mute, hearts and a Premium flag are saved locally on the device, and are included in Android’s backup to your own Google account.
- Optional rewarded video ads are served by Google AdMob. Watching an ad can grant a heart.
- Optional Google Play purchases (a heart refill and a one-time Premium unlock) are processed by Google and RevenueCat. We never see your full payment card details.
- If the app hits an error, a crash report is sent to Sentry so we can fix it; it contains the technical fault and what you were doing in the game, not who you are. A small number of commerce events — offers shown, purchases, rewarded ads — go to Google Analytics for Firebase so we can see how the store is doing. They carry no name, no progress and no user id.
- We do not sell your personal information.
3. Information stored on your device
The app writes a small amount of game state to on-device storage (the WebView’s local storage). This stays on the device unless a partner listed below collects data for ads or purchases, or unless your device backs the app up (for example Android Backup).
Game progress
The highest unlocked level and your best accuracy per cleared level. Progress is written when a level finishes, not when the result screen draws.
Settings
Mute, and the audio-output calibration offset measured in Settings (used only to judge taps, not to identify you).
Hearts and Premium
Current hearts, refill timing, recent heart-refill transaction ids (so a purchase is not filled twice), and whether Premium is active on this device. Premium also comes from the store entitlement when billing is available.
Tutorial
Whether you have finished the how-to-play lesson.
Android backup
On Android, the game data above is included in the system’s Auto Backup. Android copies it to your own Google account so that reinstalling the app, or setting up a new phone, restores your progress. That copy is held by Google under your account and under your device’s backup setting, which you can turn off in Android Settings. Dor Vadai does not operate that backup and cannot read it.
Save code
Settings can show your progress as a short save code, and accept one to restore from. The code is generated on the device and contains only your levels, best accuracies, calibration offset, the sound and haptics switches, and whether the tutorial is done. It does not contain hearts, purchases or anything that identifies you, it is not sent anywhere, and it leaves the device only if you choose to copy or share it.
This on-device data is not a profile we host. Uninstalling Tiny Tempo, clearing the app’s storage, or using Reset in Settings (which clears saved progress) removes the corresponding local records on that device. A copy already taken by Android’s backup is removed through Android’s own backup settings.
4. Advertising
On Android, Tiny Tempo may show rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. There are no banner or interstitial ads in the current design. Ads are optional: you can wait for a heart to regenerate, buy a refill, or unlock Premium (unlimited hearts).
If ads are available, Google’s User Messaging Platform may show a consent message where required (for example under European privacy law). You can refuse personalised advertising where that choice is offered. If consent needed to request ads is not given, the app does not serve those ads and continues to work without them.
Google and its advertising partners may collect device and advertising identifiers (including the Android Advertising ID), IP address, approximate location derived from IP, device and app information, coarse diagnostic data, and information about the ad that was shown or clicked. Their collection is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and the partners in Google’s ads system. You can reset or opt out of personalised ads in Android settings (Google → Ads, or the equivalent on your device).
5. Purchases
Optional in-app products are sold through Google Play Billing:
- Heart refill — a consumable that fills hearts. Consumables are not restored.
- Premium — a one-time unlock for unlimited hearts. Restore Purchases in Settings restores Premium, not consumed refills.
Payment is handled by Google. We use RevenueCat to confirm entitlements and purchase receipts. RevenueCat may process an anonymous app user identifier, product identifiers, transaction identifiers, and entitlement state. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy. Google’s handling of Play purchases is described in Google’s Privacy Policy and Google Play Terms.
We do not receive your full billing address or payment card number. Google may share a limited purchase record (for example that a product was bought, and a transaction id) so the app can grant hearts or Premium.
6. Crash and error reports
When something in Tiny Tempo fails — a screen that will not draw, a purchase that errors, a level that cannot save — the app sends a crash report to Sentry, our error-monitoring provider, so that the fault reaches us instead of only showing you a blank screen.
A report contains:
- the error message and the technical stack trace inside our own code;
- the app version, and the screen, level and act you were on;
- a short trail of the last few steps in the app — for example “menu → map → level started” — including whether an ad or a purchase had just been offered;
- general information your device supplies to any website, such as the browser engine and operating-system version.
A report does not contain your name, your email, an advertising identifier, your payment details or your location. There is no account to identify you by. We have configured the reporter so that it does not attach your IP address or other personal identifiers to a report, and the app removes web addresses and device file paths from a report before it is sent. We do not use crash reports to build a profile of you or for advertising.
Sentry processes this data on our behalf under its privacy policy and data processing terms. If you would prefer not to send crash reports at all, you can use the app offline or not install it; there is currently no in-app switch, and we will add one if this section ever grows beyond diagnostics.
7. Analytics
The app reports a small number of commerce events to Google Analytics for Firebase, so we can see how often an offer is shown and how often it is taken. Without it we can see purchases, because the store reports those, but not the players who declined — which is the part that tells us whether a price or a placement is wrong.
Ten events are sent. Each carries only the fields named here:
- Running out of hearts, with the level number.
- A rewarded-ad offer being shown, started, completed or failing, with where it was shown and, on a failure, why.
- A purchase offer being shown, started, completed, cancelled or failing, with which product and, on a failure, why.
No event carries a name, an email address, a save code, your progress, or anything you typed. We do not set a user id or any user property, so events are not tied to an identity we hold. Firebase itself collects device and app information and an app-instance identifier, as described in Firebase’s own privacy documentation.
You can turn this off at any time with the Share usage data switch in Settings, under Privacy. The choice is stored on the device and applies from the moment you make it.
Analytics consent is governed separately from the advertising consent the app asks for: agreeing to personalised ads is not agreeing to analytics, and we do not treat it as if it were.
8. How information is used
- On-device data: to run the game, remember progress, mute and calibration, hearts, and Premium on that device.
- Advertising data (by Google and partners): to serve, measure and (where allowed) personalise rewarded ads, detect invalid traffic, and meet legal duties.
- Purchase data (by Google and RevenueCat): to complete a purchase, grant or restore Premium, prevent a refill from being granted twice, and handle support requests you send us.
- Email you send us: to answer you. We do not use it for marketing lists. Settings → Help can attach a short block of details — app version, device, level reached, whether Premium is held, and your save code — and it shows you that block in full before you send anything. Nothing is sent unless you send it, and you can delete any of it from the message first.
Crash reports (by us, through Sentry): to find and fix a fault, tell one fault from another, and see whether a fix worked.
Commerce events (through Google Analytics for Firebase): to see how many players are shown an offer and how many take it, so the price and the placement can be judged on something other than guesswork. Not to build a profile of you, and not for advertising targeting.
9. Sharing
We share information only as follows:
- Advertising: Google AdMob and its partners, when a rewarded ad is requested or shown.
- Payments: Google Play and RevenueCat, when you buy or restore.
- Crash reporting: Sentry, when the app hits an error, as described in section 6.
- Analytics: Google, through Google Analytics for Firebase, when one of the ten commerce events in section 7 occurs.
- Legal: if we are required to disclose information by law, regulation, or a valid legal process, or to protect the app, our users, or our rights.
- Change of publisher: if Tiny Tempo is sold or transferred to another publisher, on-device data is not a hosted customer database that could change hands, but this policy and the app listing may transfer with it.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising for our own purposes beyond the AdMob rewarded-ad integration described here.
10. Retention
Local game data remains until you reset it, clear app storage, or uninstall. Purchase records are kept by Google and RevenueCat for as long as they need to operate billing, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. Analytics events are kept by Google for the retention period set on the Firebase project. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle the request.
11. Your choices and rights
- Play without watching ads: wait for hearts, buy a refill, or buy Premium.
- Advertising preferences: use the in-ad or consent form choices where shown, and Android’s ad settings.
- Analytics: the Share usage data switch in Settings, under Privacy, turns commerce-event collection on and off at any time. Turning it off stops collection on that device.
- Progress: Reset in Settings clears saved level progress on that device.
- Purchases: manage Google Play purchases in your Google account. Restore Purchases restores Premium only.
Depending on where you live (including the EEA, UK, and similar jurisdictions, and some US states), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict personal information, to object to certain processing, to withdraw consent, or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because we do not run a Tiny Tempo user account, much of the game data exists only on your device. For advertising or purchase data held by Google or RevenueCat, those providers’ tools and policies apply; we will help where we can if you email us.
If you are a California resident, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in the CCPA/CPRA for our own selling of data. AdMob may use identifiers for advertising as described above. You can use Android ad controls and, where shown, the consent form.
12. Children
Tiny Tempo is a general-audience game. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app includes third-party advertising and in-app purchases. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact dor1612@gmail.com and we will take appropriate steps.
13. Security and international transfers
On-device data is only as protected as the device and any backup you enable. Traffic to Google and RevenueCat uses their HTTPS APIs. Those companies may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, they are responsible for their own transfer safeguards (for example Standard Contractual Clauses).
No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. We design the game so that we do not need a copy of your progress on our servers.
14. Changes
We may update this policy, for example if we add a service, change partners, or the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. The current version will stay on this page. If a change is material, we will take additional steps that are reasonable in the circumstances (for example a note in the Play listing or in the app).
