1. Agreement
By downloading, installing or using Tiny Tempo, you agree to these Terms of Service and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Google Play’s own terms also apply to how you obtain the app and pay for in-app products. If those terms conflict with these Terms on store billing, Google Play’s terms control for the payment itself.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to use an app that includes advertising and in-app purchases, whichever is higher. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Tiny Tempo only with the consent of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms.
Tiny Tempo is not intended for children under 13 and is not offered as a designed-for-families children’s app.
3. The app
Tiny Tempo is a single-player rhythm game: you watch a short phrase, then tap it back across a road of levels. Progress, mute, audio calibration and hearts are stored on your device. We do not provide online multiplayer, user-generated public content, or a Tiny Tempo account.
Features, vignettes, difficulty and availability may change as we update the app. We may offer the game as a free download with optional rewarded ads and optional paid items.
4. Licence
We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Tiny Tempo on devices you own or control, for your own entertainment, in accordance with these Terms and the Google Play licence.
You may not:
- copy, modify, distribute, sell or sublicense the app except as allowed by law or by an open-source licence that applies to a third-party component;
- reverse engineer or extract source except where a law gives you that right and you first ask us in writing if the law requires it;
- bypass hearts, Premium, ads or purchase checks by cheating, automation, or tampering with storage or the store;
- remove notices, or use our names or art to suggest we endorse something we do not.
5. Hearts, ads and Premium
Some levels spend a heart when you start a scored attempt. Early levels and levels you have already mastered at three stars do not spend a heart. Hearts refill over time on the device.
When hearts are empty, you may:
- wait for a heart to return;
- watch an optional rewarded video ad (Google AdMob) for a heart, if an ad is available and any required consent has been given;
- buy a heart refill through Google Play; or
- buy Premium, a one-time unlock for unlimited hearts.
Hearts, refills and Premium are virtual items. They have no cash value, are not redeemable for money, and exist only inside Tiny Tempo. A heart refill is consumable and is not restored. Premium can be restored with Restore Purchases in Settings on a device signed into the Google account that bought it.
Ads are provided by Google and its partners. We do not control every advertiser. Ads may fail to load, may be skipped or closed before a reward is earned, or may be unavailable if you decline consent. In those cases the game does not grant a heart from that attempt.
6. Purchases, prices and refunds
Prices are set and displayed by Google Play in your local store. Taxes, currency and payment methods are Google’s. Purchases are charged to the Google account on the device.
We use RevenueCat to recognise entitlements. A purchase that is cancelled, pending, or that Google does not complete will not grant the item. If a network drop happens after Google charges you, Restore Purchases (for Premium) or contacting us with the order number (for a refill that did not apply) is the way to fix it.
Refunds are handled under Google Play’s refund policies and any mandatory consumer law that applies to you. Virtual items that have been consumed (a used heart refill) are generally not returnable except where the store or the law requires it. If you believe you were charged in error, contact Google Play in-app or email dor1612@gmail.com with the order number.
There is no auto-renewing subscription in the current product list. If we add one later, the Play listing and these Terms will describe the price, period, and how to cancel before we charge for it.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the app for anything unlawful;
- interfere with other players, our partners, or the store (including invalid ad traffic or fraudulent purchases);
- probe, overload or disrupt any service the app talks to;
- misrepresent a purchase or an ad reward.
Progress stored on the device can be lost if you uninstall, clear storage, replace the device without a backup, or use Reset in Settings. We are not obliged to restore local progress from our side, because we do not host it.
8. Intellectual property
Tiny Tempo, including its name, procedural art, music, sound design, text and code (other than third-party components), is owned by Dor Vadai or their licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.
Third-party components keep their own licences. That includes the Phaser engine, Capacitor, Google and RevenueCat software, and the bundled Fredoka and Nunito fonts under the SIL Open Font License. Open-source notices do not grant extra rights to our game content.
9. Disclaimer
Tiny Tempo is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the game will be uninterrupted, that judgement windows will feel identical on every device (audio latency varies, which is why calibration exists), or that ads and the store will always be available.
Nothing in these Terms limits a warranty or right that cannot be excluded under the consumer law of your country.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dor Vadai and any contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost progress, lost device data, or amounts spent on virtual items, arising from the app or these Terms, even if we were told they were possible.
Our total liability for claims relating to Tiny Tempo is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for in-app products in the 12 months before the claim, and (b) 50 US dollars (or the equivalent). This cap does not apply to liability that the law does not allow us to limit, including death or personal injury caused by negligence where that rule applies, or fraud.
11. Changes, suspension and termination
We may update these Terms. The date at the top will change, and the current version will stay on this page. If you keep using the app after an update, you accept the new Terms, except where the law requires us to ask again.
We may modify, suspend or stop the app, ads, or a product. If Premium cannot be honoured because we withdraw the product, we will follow Google Play’s rules and applicable law for paid entitlements.
We may suspend access if you breach these Terms or misuse ads or purchases. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Sections that should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and purchases already made) will survive.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the place where Dor Vadai is resident, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would choose another jurisdiction’s law. If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another place that gives you mandatory protections, those protections still apply, and you may bring a claim in your home courts where the law allows.
If a court finds a part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms are the agreement between you and us for Tiny Tempo. They do not create rights for anyone else, except as they apply to our licensors.
